Gros Takes it Down on the River

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Roberto Beccaria limped in from early position and Benjamin Gros raised to 700 from the next seat. Eloi Ferret called from the cutoff, Konstantinos Polymeropoulos called from the big blind, and Beccaria put in the extra chips to see a flop.

All four players checked the 235 flop to see the 9 fall on the turn. Polymeropoulos and Beccaria checked, and Gros bet 1,500. Ferret called and both Polymeropoulos and Beccaria folded.

Polymeropoulos Just Calls With the Nuts

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

On a board of 6289 with around 3,000 in the pot, Benjamin Gros led the turn with a bet of 2,000, which both Salah Amran and Konstantinos Polymeropoulos called.

When the K hit the river, Gros fired a much-larger bet of 7,500, which got Amran to fold quickly. Polymeropoulos made the call.

Gros confidently turned over 107 for the nuts and Polymeropoulos surprisingly flipped 107 for the same hand, which resulted in a chopped pot.

The floor was called and Polymeropoulos was informed that he needed to raise if he was last to act on the river and had the best possible hand.
