Pasadas' Check-Raise Forces Tang Out

Jun Tang opened to 800 from the cutoff and Jose Villen Pasadas three-bet out of the small blind to 2,400. Tang called.

Both players checked the KA8 flop to see the 3 come on the turn. Pasadas led out for 1,600 which Tang called.

Pasadas chose to check the J river and then faced a bet of 3,600 from Tang. Pasadas check-raised to 12,000 which prompted a fold from Tang.

In a heads-up pot on a board of 9QKJ5, Pierre Zagorski bet 10,000 and Victor Castanedo raised to 29,000 with just a handful of black 100-chips behind. Zagorski re-raised all in and Castanedo quickly called.

Zagorski showed A10 for Broadway before Castanedo revealed the same holding with A10 as the two chopped the pot with the stone nuts.

It's official. After its return in 2023 following a 12-year hiatus, PokerStars has confirmed that The Big Game on Tour is back again this year, with more episodes to be filmed at the NAPT Las Vegas festival.

Ten episodes of the show were filmed last year, with the likes of Phil Hellmuth, Maria Ho, Lex Veldhuis and Sam Grafton all taking part. The show features a lucky Loose Cannon who receives $50,000 and has to survive 150 hands playing $50/$100 with a table of poker pros, ambassadors, and celebrities.

PokerNews spoke with Big Game on Tour judge and commentator James Hartigan ahead of the show's return, and he says he's thrilled the show is back.

Benjamin Spragg raised to 700 from middle position. He was called by Cyril Beudou, Kristaps Deksnis, and Martins Sulte.

All four players checked the KQ6 flop to see the Q come on the turn. After Sulte checked, Spragg fired out a bet of 2,100 and found folds from all of his opponents.

Damian Gotuzzo and Adi Alkalay got into a raising war that ended with Gotuzzo jamming a stack of 30,000 and Alkalay calling.

Gotuzzo's aces were far in front and Alkalay couldn't pull ahead despite flopping a king as the board ran out 83KJ2. Alkalay thought he was eliminated but sat back down when he saw he had a few chips left.

Gognjavec Gets Paid With His Boat

With the board showing K10773, Krzysztof Grubka bet out for 1,600 from the blinds and Didier Galliot called from early position. Andraz Gognjavec then raised to 7,000. Grubka thought it over briefly before folding, but Galliot put in the call. Gognjavec turned over 1010 for a full house to win the pot
