Paul Lagan Eliminated in 9th Place (€12,800)

Level 21 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Lagan Paul Anthony
Lagan Paul Anthony

Boris Angelov raised to 100,000 under the gun and was called by Paul Lagan in the big blind. Lagan check-called Angelov's bets of 70,000 on the 104K flop and 165,000 on the 8 turn before leading out for 250,000 on the J river.

Angelov then raised all in, with Lagan quickly calling off his total stack of about 700,000. Angelov tabled KK for top set, while Lagan frustratedly slammed his 44 on the table for a lower set.

Lagan exited in ninth but consoled himself with the fact that he had pulled the top bounty of €50,000 during the break.

Thomas Haverstad raised to 250,000 under the gun, roughly half his stack. The action folded to Sam Greenwood on the button, who jammed all in for 1,300,000.

The blinds folded before Haverstad committed the rest of his stack to be at risk.

Thomas Haverstad: JJ All in
Sam Greenwood: AA

Greenwood's aces would not get cracked on the 93457 runout, resulting in Haverstad's elimination.

David Doubles Up

Level 21 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Boris Angelov raised to 100,000 from middle position and received a call from short stack Cristian David in the hijack.

Angelov then put David all in on the J410 flop and the latter snap-called for his stack of 245,000.

Cristian David: A5 All in
Boris Angelov: 98

David's ace-high was ahead and when the J5 runout did not improve Angelov, David raked in the double-up.

Level 22 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Paul Lagan
Paul Lagan

Paul Lagan busted out of the tournament in ninth place for €12,800 in prize money, but the real win came when he pulled his bounty tokens. He'd already drawn one €50,000 envelope and a €7,500 prize. After busting, Lagan went to cash in his remaining bounty tokens at the chest.

He pulled out a €10,000. Not too bad. Then, Lagan let out a cheer as he revealed a second €50,000 prize.

That brought Lagan's total prize money for the tournament up to €130,300.

Lin Left Short

Level 22 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Ren Lin raised to 120,000 in the cutoff and Cristian David defended his big blind. Both players checked the 9J3 flop before David led out for 105,000 on the 7 turn.

Lin called to see the 6 river, where David put him all in for his final 350,000. Lin spent two time banks, but ultimately decided to fold as he was left with less than six big blinds.

Level 22 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Erik Seidel put in his final 60,000 chips as first to act and was called by Sondre Svanevik in middle position. Boris Angelov then made it 180,000 to go in the hijack, which Svanevik called as well.

Svanevik checked to Angelov on the J74 flop, after which Angelov bet 200,000. Svanevik quickly folded to leave the other players to show down.

Erik Seidel: 109 All in
Boris Angelov: K4

Angelov made two pair on the K turn to leave Seidel drawing only to his straight draw. However, it did not come in on the 5 river and the Hall of Famer took his exit in seventh place.
