Tom Middleton raised to 3,500 from the button and Norden folded before Korzinin moved all in for around 6,000. Middleton called to put him at risk.

Middleton was ahead with top pair but the 5♣ turn gave Korzinin two pair to take the lead. The A♠ river improved Middleton to a Broadway straight and he took the pot while Korzinin became the first elimination of the day.

On the J♦10♦9♥ flop, Zanetti continued for 1,800, Jeschka check-jammed for 9,000 effective and Zanetti snapped it off to put himself at risk.

Kalidou Sow bet 3,500 from the button on a flop of A♥A♦J♦ and Shakhabiddin Muradov called in the hijack.

The turn was the 8♦ and Sow bet 10,000. Muradov used a time bank before moving all in as Sow tossed in all his time banks, taking more than a minute until he called for his last 30,000.

Sow showed 3♦2♦ for a flush, but Muradov had A♠J♠ for the flopped full house. Sow was already drawing dead as the K♣ fell on the river to send him to the rail.
