Following the successful return of the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) in Las Vegas last year, PokerStars announced in May that the NAPT will return to Resorts World, Las Vegas, this November for another ten-day poker extravaganza.

The series is highlighted by the NAPT Las Vegas Main Event, which has a $5,300 buy-in. Last year's champion, Sami Bechahed, topped the 1,095-entry field and took home a substantial $268,945.

For those who missed out last year or looking to have a second bite of the cherry, you'll be pleased to know that you can secure your seat in the Main Event for a fraction of the buy-in.

Zobian Raises River in Confusing Pot

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Alec Torelli opened from under the gun and received calls from Aram Zobian on the button and Jiaming Zhao from the big blind.

On the 983 flop, the action checked to Zobian who bet 600 and only Zhao called.

The turn brought the 9. Zobian sized up to 2,700 but Zhao stuck around.

The 8 came on the river. Zhao opted to lead for 9,500, and Zobian responded with a raise to 22,200.

In a moment of confusion, Zhao tabled his 43 as he was unaware that Zobian had raised. In good sportsmanship, Zobian asserted that Zhao was clearly going to fold and scooped the pot without showdown but he claimed he had a nine.

Livschitz Picks Up Kings to Leave Korzinin on Fumes

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Victoria Livschitz was under the gun as she and Vladimir Korzinin in the hijack got all their chips in the middle before the flop.

Vladimir Korzinin: 66

The flop came AA4, while the K turn gave Livschitz a full house and left Korzinin drawing dead by the J river. He reached across the table to shake Livschitz's hand and prepared to make his exit, but a count of the chips showed he had Livschitz's 34,500 covered by 2,500.

"I was hoping you had ace-king," he said, laughing off the beat.
