Davies Cracks Kings to Score Huge Double

Level 19 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Seth Davies
Seth Davies

Seth Davies opened to 105,000 and Jesse Lonis Q10 called in the small blind. Sean Winter three-bet to 600,000 from the big blind.

Davies used a time bank before four-betting all in for 2,405,000 and Lonis folded. Winter snap-called and put Davies at risk.

Seth Davies: 77 All in
Sean Winter: KK

It wasn't looking good for Davies who was well and truly up against it, However, there was a seven in the window of a Q74 flop, giving Davies a set, with the 6 turn and 3 river securing a massive double for Davies.

Patrik Antonius Eliminated in 6th Place (€278,400)

Level 18 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Patrik Antonius

Patrik Antonius shoved for 400,000 from the cutoff and Jesse Lonis called on the button.

Patrik Antonius: KJ All in
Jesse Lonis: 77

It was a classic flip, with Antonius at risk. The flop Q66 changed nothing, with Antonius not even picking up any hearts. The turn 9 did give him straight outs.

"I'll take a jack," said Antonius, but the river was the 8 and he was the first elimination at the final table, taking home €278,400.

Which of Poker's Superstars will Come Out on Top in €100,000 Super High Roller

Sean Winterq

Even a random selection of six from the 41 entries in the PokerStars European Poker Tour Barcelona €100,000 Super High Roller would have generated a final day full of superstars. But the players that have returned all have the capacity to win not just this tournament, but any high-roller tournament around the world.

Leading a trio of Americans at the top of the chip counts is Sean Winter, who eliminated Thomas Santerne late last night to burst the money bubble and ensure the remaining six players €278,400.

He is then followed by Day 2 chip leader Seth Davies, looking to add to his SHRB Cyprus win just over a week ago. And the big names keep coming — third in chips is the current GPI #1 Jesse Lonis.

Kayhan Mokri is the only player left in the field who would achieve a new highest cash if they win, but he comes into today with a €20,000 EPT Barcelona title he won only four days ago.

Meanwhile, the two shortest stacks are the table are the newest member of the Poker Hall of Fame Patrik Antonius, and popular Indian poker player Santhosh Suvarna, who most recently took down the WSOP $250,000 Super High Roller. Can either of them add the EPT Barcelona €100,000 Super High Roller to their list of accolades?
