Davies Takes a Chunk Out of Astedt's Stack
Level 13
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Niklas Astedt opened to 35,000 from the cutoff with 8♥6♥ and Seth Davies defended his big blind with K♠9♠.
The K♥9♥3♣ flop improved both players and Davies checked to Astedt, who continued for 26,000 with a flush draw. Davies then check-raised to 100,000 with his two pair and Astedt called.
The 8♠ turn gave Astedt a pair of eights to go along with his flush draw and he called facing a 210,000 bet from Davies.
Davies shoved after the 4♠ completed the board and Astedt laid his hand down after a bit of thought.
