Both Players Overlook Flush as Obili Wins with Aces
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
After Zoltan Farkas bet 3,600 on the 9♦K♦Q♣ flop, Raviteja Obili was the only caller with three players involved in the hand.
Both players checked the Q♦ turn.
When the 3♦ river arrived, Obili checked and Farkas bet 15,000. Obili called, and although Farkas had two pair with 9♣7♣ (nines and queens), Obili revealed A♠A♣ for two pair—aces and queens—securing the pot.
