The remaining 220 players are now on a 20-minute break.
Ivan Zhechev opened from the hijack to 10,000 and Eric Sfez three-bet from the button to 37,500. Next to act in the small blind was Renato Grossi, who four-bet to 91,000. Zhechev went deep into the tank, thinking for around a minute before eventually folding his cards. Sfez didn't take too much time to let go of his holding and the pot was pushed to Grossi.
Slade Fisher opened from the cutoff to 10,000 and Mathew Frankland defended from the big blind.
After Frankland checked the J♦10♦4♦ flop, Fisher bet 14,000 and was met with a check-raise to 42,000 from Frankland. Fisher thought it over for a few moments before folding his hand and forfeiting the pot to Frankland.
Fabiano Kovalski was all-in from early position for 33,000 and Ali Rahmouni had shoved over the top for 81,000. Cagdas Ersoy had them both covered and called to try and get the double knockout.
Fabiano Kovalski: 3♦3♠
Ali Rahmouni: A♣Q♦
Cagdas Ersoy: K♠K♣
Ersoy was ahead with kings, but the J♣A♠8♠ flop gave Rahmouni top pair and catapulted him into the lead. The 7♣ turn and 6♦ river didn't change anything, and Rahmouni won the pot, while Kovalski busted.
Benjamin Spragg opened to 10,500 from middle position and Henok Tekle three-bet to 23,000 from the hijack. Spragg, who covered Tekle slightly, four-bet shoved for around 90,000 and Tekle called, putting himself at risk.
Henok Tekle: A♠A♦
Benjamin Spragg: K♥Q♠
Spragg failed to crack the aces on the 4♣7♣6♦Q♥4♠ runout and was left with just 9,000 chips while Tekle scored a full double up. Spragg managed to double up his short stack at least once but it was not enough and he was sent to the rail shortly afterwards.
David Miscikowski opened to 10,000 from the hijack and Pablo Silva defended from the big blind.
The flop came K♣9♦3♦. Silva checked and Miscikowski fired a 7,000 continuation bet. Silva check-raised to 23,000 only for Miscikowski to raise to 47,000. This time Silva opted to fold and Miscikowski took down a nice pot without having to see a turn.
