Truong Puts Yantsevich All-In

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Mark Tarich opened to 1,500 in middle position and got called by Toan Chan Truong from the cutoff, Fabien Garcia in the small blind, and Valery Yantsevich in the big blind.

The flop came 65Q and the action checked around to Truong, who bet 4,000. Only Yantsevich called.

Ruijs Busts Altman

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

On a flop of 543 Brian Altman bet 1,300 which was called by Maria Konnikova in the cutoff, and Joris Ruijs out of the big blind.

All three players checked on the 3 turn for the Q to come on the river. Ruijs bet 2,000 and was met with a raise to 10,200 by Altman, who only had roughly 12,000 behind. Konnikova got out of the way, but Ruijs raised enough to put Altman all in. Altman thought it over for a minute before flicking in the call.

Ruijs flipped over 53 for a full house. Altman couldn't beat that as he had 77 and was sent to the rail.

Nagygyorgy Turns Verhaegen Dead

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Hallabro's Aces Trap Backfires

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Yannis Berrandou raised to 1,200 from under the gun and Lars Romundstad three-bet to 3,700 in the hijack. Marcus Hallabro called on the button, and Berrandou also called.

On the Q36 flop, Berrandou checked and Romundstad bet 6,300. Hallabro then shoved, Berrandou folded, and Romundstad called.

Marcus Hallabro: AA All in
Lars Romundstad: AK

Hallabro had laid the trap with aces but it didn't work out as he was left drawing dead after the 4 fell on the turn, which improved Romundstad to an unbeatable flush. A meaningless 3 completed the board, and Hallabro was eliminated.
