Greenwood Takes From Mulder

Sam Greenwood opened to 2,500 from the cutoff. Teun Mulder re-raised out of the small blind to 11,500. Greenwood made the call.

Mulder then led for 5,000 on the 9KK flop before Greenwood made the call. The 8 presented another flush draw. Both players checked. Another round of knuckles ensued on the 7 river. Mulder tabled AQ and was bested by Greenwood's 44 for two pair.

Dickerson Takes from Greenwood

The 8 river was checked down and Dickerson tabled A8 for two pair. Greenwood mucked and Dickerson took the pot.

Wakil Wins at Showdown

Action was picked up on the flop with Jamil Wakil and Georgios Karakousis checking the flop of 9A10 from the blinds to Sven Andersson. He elected to check from the button.

The K turn brought another round of checks, as did the K river. Karakousis tabled 92 for a pair of nines but he was outkicked by Wakil's Q9. Andersson mucked and Wakil took the small pot.

Hartigan Talks Player Dynamics and "Holy Shit" Moments as The Big Game on Tour Returns

It's official. After its return in 2023 following a 12-year hiatus, PokerStars has confirmed that The Big Game on Tour is back again this year, with more episodes to be filmed at the NAPT Las Vegas festival.

Ten episodes of the show were filmed last year, with the likes of Phil Hellmuth, Maria Ho, Lex Veldhuis and Sam Grafton all taking part. The show features a lucky Loose Cannon who receives $50,000 and has to survive 150 hands playing $50/$100 with a table of poker pros, ambassadors, and celebrities.

PokerNews spoke with Big Game on Tour judge and commentator James Hartigan ahead of the show's return, and he says he's thrilled the show is back.

Van Luijk Takes Pot

Level 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Derk Van Luijk opened to 2,500 from the hijack. Action folded around to David Coleman who called in the small blind and Mike Watson defended the big blind.

Both blinds checked the A10K flop to Van Luijk who bet 3,500. Coleman called and Watson folded. Coleman then check-called a bet of 5,500 on the 8 turn. He checked once more on the 6 river, which prompted Van Luijk to fire a bet of 12,000. Coleman took a moment before releasing his cards.

Coleman Scoops a Sizeable One Early

Level 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn of 78Q2. David Coleman bet 50,000 into Mike Watson, who made the call.

With the pot at around 150,000, Coleman moved all of his chips in bar one on the 8 river. Watson snap-folded and left Coleman with the pot.
