Hopefuls will head to Graton Casino Resort in Rohnert Park, California, to test their mettle and skill as they aim to become the champion of the $1,100 NorCal Championship Main Event. Players will chase a piece of the $300,000 guarantee as they aim to attain the title and the trophy as the first-ever NorCal Championship Main Event winner in the inaugural edition of the tournament.
The event is set to host four starting flights on Friday, Aug. 28, and Saturday, Aug. 29. Day 1a will begin at 10 a.m.on Aug. 28, with Day 1b slotted to begin at 5 p.m. Saturday will host Day 1c at 10 a.m., with the final starting flight set to be hosted at 5 p.m. Day 2 restart is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. Day 2 will play down until a winner.

Competitors will start with 40,000 in chips. Starting flights are scheduled for 30-minute blind levels, with the levels bumping up to 40 minutes on Day 2. There will be a break after every four levels of play. Players are entitled to an unlimited number of reentries. Registration for each flight will close at the start of Level 9 following the conclusion of the break.
Players who advance to Day 2 more than once will be entitled to take their largest stack forward and receive a minimum payout for their forfeited stack(s). A total of 12.5% of each flight will be permitted to advance to Day 2.
