Beauregard Holds for Double-Up
Level 16
: Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Francis Beauregard got his stack of 117,000 in from the button against Tero Laurila in middle position.
Francis Beauregard: A♠A♥
Tero Laurila: A♦Q♣
The 3♠9♥J♥ flop posed no threat to Beauregard's aces, but the 8♦ turn gave Laurila a straight draw.
It did not come in on the 6♥ river, however, and Beauregard's rockets propelled him to a near-average stack.
