Shylko Pips Kovalski
Level 21
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Aliaksandr Shyko raised his A♠K♥ to 30,000 in early position. Fabiano Kovalski flat-called in the hijack with A♦Q♥, while the rest of the table folded.
The flop brought 4♦7♦A♣ and was checked by Shylko. Kovalski made a bet of 30,000 and Shylko called. The 6♥ turn saw the same actions, with the bet amounting to 115,000 instead.
The 10♣ river completed the board, causing both players to check it down. Shylko tabled his top pair with top kicker, seeing Kovalski muck his inferior ace.
