Late registration is closed for Day 1a of the $1,100 Eureka Main Event. The total number of entries for the flight is confirmed at 220. The flight is scheduled to play down to 15 percent, which means 33 players will make it through to Day 2.
Cengiz Aksu started the action with a raise to 3,000 from under the gun, and Adi Rajkovic made the call from the big blind.
On the 3♦9♦3♠ flop, Rajkovic checked, prompting Aksu to bet 2,500. Rajkovic responded with a raise to 6,500, and Aksu called.
Both players then checked through the 10♠ turn and the 8♥ river, taking it to showdown. Rajkovic revealed 5♣5♦ for two pair, fives and threes, and that was enough to send Aksu’s hand into the muck.
