The players have been sent on their final 15-minute break of the day, with play due to conclude at the end of Level 24.
Action was picked up with Krum Polihronov all in and at risk versus the covering stack of Martin Zamani.
Krum Polihronov: A♠A♦
Martin Zamani: 10♣10♦
Polihronov's aces held across the 4♣2♠8♣8♥7♠ runout to secure the double up.
Dmitry Vitkind shoved for 75,000 from early position and Patrick Humphreys shoved behind for a little under 300,000.
Dmitry Vitkind: Q♠6♥
Patrick Humphreys: A♦Q♥
Vitkind was hoping to see some sixes, but saw them upside-down as the flop of A♥9♥9♣ put him on the brink of elimination. Humphreys locked up the pot on the J♦ turn, and the 3♠ river was just a formality, which meant Vitkind was eliminated.
Action folded to Gary Banks in the small blind, who shipped his last 220,000 into the middle. Matthias Lipp made the call in the big blind.
Gary Banks: 7♣7♠
Matthias Lipp: A♣2♦
Banks was in great shape for the double-up versus only one overcard, and it was confirmed by the Q♦9♥6♣7♦10♦ runout, Banks turning a set of sevens.
Lyudmil Ivanov opened from the cutoff when big blind Mehdi Chaoui put in a three-bet. Ivanov called to create a pot of 280,000.
Chaoui continued for 55,000 on the K♥5♠4♥ flop and Ivanov called. Ivanov then placed a bet of 80,000 on the A♥ turn after Chaoui checked.
Chaoui called, then both checked the 10♣ river. Chaoui turned over K♦2♣ for a pair of kings but lost against the A♣Q♣ of Ivanov, who took the pot with top pair.
Julien Arethuse opened to 40,000 from middle position. Action folded around and Neel Murthy defended the big blind.
The 7♦10♠8♠ was checked around before Murthy led the 3♥ turn for 65,000. Arethuse called. Murthy then bet around 120,000 on the J♦ river and was snap-called by Arethuse. Murthy's J♥2♥ had made top pair but Arethuse made a jack high straight with 9♦8♦ to scoop the pot.
The very next hand. Vladislav Dubanov opened from early position to 40,000. Neel Murthy moved all in for 80,000. Frederick Anastasiades then reraised out of the big blind to 150,000. Dubanov went into the tank before folding.
Neel Murthy: K♥10♥
Frederick Anastasiades: K♠K♣
Anastasiades hit the case king and made a full house on the K♦7♣7♦ flop; the 6♣ turn and J♦ river cards were purely a formality.
