Lipp Doesn't Back Down Against Virlanuta

Marian Virlanuta opened to 80,000 first to act and was called by Matthias Lipp on the button for a heads-up pot.

Virlanuta checked to Lipp, who bet 80,000 on the 6♠3♣J♠ flop. Virlanuta then check-raised to 250,000 and, undeterred, Lipp made it 450,000 to go.

Virlanuta quickly laid his hand down and Lipp added to his stack.

Abelmasov tanked for a moment before leading the Q♦5♠2♦ flop for 240,000. The 3♥ turn was checked quickly by both as was the A♦ river. Abelmasov showed K♦Q♠ but was beaten by Badulin's K♠K♣

Muhtar Taysi open raised from late position and Semen Kravets shoved all in from the big blind for over 900,000 chips. Taysi went into the tank and then made the call. He had the covering stack as the cards were turned.

Muhtar Taysi: 10♥10♣

The board ran out 10♠Q♠A♥5♣7♣ and Taysi further improved to a set of tens to leave Kravets drawing dead by the turn. Taysi won the pot and Kravets was eliminated.

The 8♠10♣4♦ flop was checked around before Virlanuta led out on the 5♠ turn for 175,000. Li called. The 5♦ paired the board and the players showed down. Virlanuta's J♠2♠ was beaten by Li's A♦8♦ which gave him two pair and the pot.

Mehmet Demirkol open raised to 100,000 from middle position, Maksim Rogov moved all in from the hijack for 465,000. Omar Del Pino then raised over the top for 750,000 and Demirkol folded. Rogov and Del Pino flipped their cards, with Rogov at risk.

Hugo Delmaire-Sizes min-raised the button to 100,000 and Aleksandr Razinkov three-bet the big blind to 375,000. Delmaire-Sizes called.

They went to a flop of 3♠8♦5♦ where Razinkov bet 250,000, and Delmaire-Sizes called.

A 6♥ dropped on the turn and Razinkov continued to fire with a bet of 550,000, which again Delmaire-Sizes called.

When the 6♦ landed on the river, Razinkov slowed down with a check, and Delmaire-Sizes shoved for exactly 1,000,000. Razinkov was in the tank for some but eventually released his hand, which meant Delmaire-Sizes was pushed the pot.
