Aces Hold Strong

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With about 17,800 in the pot and the flop showing 529, Zhendong Li bet 5,500 from early position, getting a call from Nazar Buhaiov on the button.

Li kept the pressure on with a hefty 21,500 bet on the 5 turn, and once again, Buhaiov made the call.

On the J river, Li shifted gears, checking to Buhaiov, who used a time bank card before moving all in. Li snap-called, revealing QJ for a missed flush draw but a pair of jacks. However, Buhaiov turned over AA for an overpair, scooping the pot and leaving Li short-stacked.
