Julien Sitbon opened from under the gun to 800. Santiago Nadal called in the hijack.
Sitbon check-called a bet of 1,200 on the Q♣J♥4♦ flop. He check-called again on the 7♣ turn, this time a bet of 4,200. On the 8♣ river, Sitbon checked once more before Nadal bet 11,300. Sitbon moved all in for 30,000 and Nadal called.
Sitbon had the second nut flush and Nadal mucked his hand.
Simon Mattsson and Fintan Hand just got all of their chips into the middle preflop from the blinds. Mattsson had slightly fewer chips than Hand so he was the player at risk.
Simon Mattsson: A♠A♥
Fintan Hand: A♣K♠
Mattsson was on the right end of a cooler and looked poised to double-up. The board ran out 3♣4♥7♣9♥7♠, Mattsson had doubled up, whereas Hand was left with only a few chips and was eliminated on the next hand
With about 17,800 in the pot and the flop showing 5♦2♣9♠, Zhendong Li bet 5,500 from early position, getting a call from Nazar Buhaiov on the button.
Li kept the pressure on with a hefty 21,500 bet on the 5♠ turn, and once again, Buhaiov made the call.
On the J♣ river, Li shifted gears, checking to Buhaiov, who used a time bank card before moving all in. Li snap-called, revealing Q♠J♠ for a missed flush draw but a pair of jacks. However, Buhaiov turned over A♦A♥ for an overpair, scooping the pot and leaving Li short-stacked.
Action was picked up on the flop of a single raise pot between Vladimir Korzinin on the button and Stanislav Tishkevich from middle position.
Tiskevich led the 8♣3♥6♦ flop for 1,200. Korzinin called. Tiskevich then slowed down and checked the 3♦ turn and Korzinin bet 3,100. Tiskevich folded and Korzinin decided to show his hand.
"Just quads" said Tiskevich as Korzinin tabled 3♠3♣.
"No gamble, no future" replied Korzinin.
Stanislav Tishkevich raised preflop and Vladimir Korzinin called from the cutoff before Paul Newey squeezed to 3,500 from the small blind. Both Tishkevich and Korzinin called.
The action checked the Korzinin on the K♣2♣5♥ flop and he bet 5,000. Newey called, but Tishkevich folded.
Both players checked the 5♠ turn and 2♥ river. Newey took down the pot with Q♣Q♥ for a pair of queens.
Action was picked up with Shakhabiddin Muradov facing a bet of 13,000 from Juan Pardo on the river of K♣J♦9♦2♥7♠. Muradov had checked from the big blind to Pardo on the button.
The 13,000 bet was a near pot-sized wager. Muradov deployed two time banks before eventually finding the fold and Pardo took the pot.
