Alexander Zubov had raised from the hijack when Tibor Nagygyorgy put in a three-bet to 14,000 from the small blind. Zubov called and a flop of 8♠K♦4♦ emerged from the deck.
Each player put in 9,500 before Nagygyorgy checked the 7♦ turn. Zubov bet 12,000 and Nagygyorgy called. On the J♣ river, Nagygyorgy checked again, but he folded once Zubov put him all-in for 26,500.
Patrick Leonard raised to 4,000 from the hijack and Jessica Teusl three-bet to 11,000 out of the cutoff. When it got back to Leonard, he called.
The flop came 9♣J♠8♠ and Leonard led out for 6,000, which Teusl called to the 3♣ turn, where Leonard checked, Teusl bet 25,000, and Leonard called.
On the J♦ river, Leonard checked, and Teusl thought for a while before she checked back. Leonard showed K♣8♣ for a pair of eights, but Teusl had aces with A♥A♦ to scoop the pot.
Aleksei Savenkov had defended from the big blind to an Alessandro Pichierri open from the hijack. The two players saw the dealer fan out a flop of 6♠5♦5♣, and Savenkov check-called a bet of 3,500 from Pichierri.
Both players checked the Q♦ turn for the A♣ to come on the river. Savenkov bet 2,000 and Pichierri reluctantly called.
Savenkov turned over K♠Q♠ for a pair of queens on the turn and Pichierri mucked his cards.
Yesset Aimukhanov opened to 4,000 from middle position and received a call from Fabian Gumz, before Belarmino De Souza produced a three-bet to 20,000 from the cutoff. Only Gumz called.
The Q♦10♠9♠ flop was checked through.
On the 2♦ turn, De Souza jammed with the covering stack when it was checked to him once more. Gumz looked suspicious, and took a time bank to think things through, before ultimately sending his cards to the muck.
The players have been sent on a 25-minute break.

One of the most entertaining shows in poker is stepping it up a notch as PokerStars announced that the next season of Big Game on Tour will feature four-time Super Bowl champion and NFL star Rob "Gronk" Gronkowski.
Gronkowski, who spent 11 seasons as a tight end in the NFL and is now a sports analyst, will compete on the upcoming The Big Game on Tour season alongside the pros, Loose Cannons and sports media personality Nick Wright, whose appearance was also confirmed on Thursday.
“I’m always up for a challenge, and diving into the world of poker is going to be an amazing new adventure for me," Gronkowski said in a press release. “I’m beyond excited to play alongside some of the best in the game and tackle the high-stakes action. Just like on the football field, I’ll be bringing my competitive edge and giving it everything I’ve got at the tables.”
