Binder’s All-In Leaves Konopelko Stumped

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Bernhard Binder
Bernhard Binder

Bernhard Binder opened the action with a raise to 2,000, but Andrei Konopelko in the small blind had other plans, three-betting to 7,500. Binder made the call.

The flop came 574, and Konopelko kept up the pressure with a 9,000 bet, which Binder called.

When the Q hit the turn, Konopelko fired a hefty 16,000. This time, instead of just calling, Binder shoved all in for 23,100. The unexpected move left Konopelko deep in thought, but after careful consideration, he decided to fold, handing Binder a solid boost to his stack.

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Mukhtar Nasiradinov, in the hijack, found himself all-in and at risk for his effective stack of 18,800, against Carlos Mejia Mora, in the cutoff.

Mukhtar Nasiradinov: 44
Carlos Mejia Mora: KK

Nasiradinov had run into a monster but the 3J4 flop came to the rescue. The 6 turn and 4 river improved him to quads and he safely cracked kings to double up.

Escobar Triples Up

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Kasra Rashidi shoved from under the gun for 10,000 and Aleksandr Ilin called from the cutoff. Daniel Escobar then called for his last 8,000 from the big blind.

Daniel Escobar: K5All in
Kasra Rashidi: A3 All in
Aleksandr Ilin: QJ

If Ilin could spike a queen or jack, he would send both of his opponents home. However the board ran out 437K7 to give Escobar the winner with a pair of kings, tripling him up, while Rashidi won a small side pot against Ilin.

Mhiri Gets Richer, Stacks Barka

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Chakib Mhiri opened from the button and Samy Barka shoved from the small blind for around 25,000. When it got back to Mhiri, he flicked in the call.

Samy Barka: 44 All in
Chakib Mhiri: AJ

It was a fair flip that favored the big-stacked Mhiri after the flop of 8AJ improved him to two pair. Barka did pick up a flush draw, but never managed to find it as the 1010 runout sent him to the rail just after the second break.
