Frohli Scoops a Huge Pot Against Bezhanyan

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Andreas Frohli
Andreas Frohli

The action was picked up with Aren Bezhanyan having a reraise of 82,000 in front of him from early position, which Andreas Frohli called from the cutoff.

On the flop of 566, Bezhanyan made a bet of 28,000, which Frohli called.

A 9 dropped on the turn and Bezhanyan slowed down with a check after around a minute of thinking, then Frohli fired 49,000. Bezhanyan went back into the tank then announced that he was all in, which gave Frohli a decision for his 90,000 behind. It wasn't much of a decision for Frohli as he quickly put in the call, which left him at risk.

Andreas Frohli: QQ All in
Aren Bezhanyan: AK

Bezhanyan surely was pleased to know he had outs, but he only had one shot to hit them. The table remained silent as the 2 rolled off on the river, which earned Frohli a huge double-up as the tournament edged closer to the bubble.

Scobai Gets Aces

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a board of 6JK3 with around 50,000 in the pot, Ion-Silviu Scobai shoved his remaining stack of over 20,000 into the pot, and Saleh Assi flicked in the call.

Ion-Silviu Scobai: AA All in
Saleh Assi: QJ

Scobai's stack had been up and down all day and he was in a good spot to scoop this pot. Only a queen or a jack on the river would see Assi eliminate Scobai, instead the 2 rolled off, which gave Scobai the pot.
