Kurtulus Ascends to Six Figures With Flopped Nuts

Aleksandr Timoshenko in the small blind, Bora Kurtulus in the big blind, and Maxim Panyak in the cutoff had created a pot of 18,000 when the 4♠8♠2♠ flop was dealt.

Timoshenko then bet 4,500 in the small blind and was called by Kurtulus in the big blind. Panyak min-raised to 9,000 in the cutoff, leaving only 1,500 behind.

Timoshenko jammed all in, covering both opponents. Kurtulus quickly called off for 38,400, after which Panyak committed his final chips as well.

Kurtulus had flopped the nut flush, and he had both his opponents drawing dead once the K♣ hit the turn. The 2♥ river was rendered meaningless as Kurtulus was shipped the huge pot.

Timoshenko was left with just 700, which he lost the next hand to also be eliminated.

Evgenii Ushakov had already gone all in preflop from the cutoff, being looked up by Dimitar Kukushkov under the gun and by Igor Abelmasov in middle position.

With a pot of 21,500 in the middle, Kukushov and Abelmasov checked through the A♥J♠4♠ flop and 9♥ turn before the 6♦ river completed the board.

Kukushov checked again, after which Abelmasov bet 7,500. Kukushov quickly called, forcing the three players to show down.

Abelmasov opened up 6♣4♣ for two pair. Kukushov could not witn with A♠10♠ for a pair of aces, and the all-in Ushakov finished in third with J♦10♣ for a pair of jacks.

A completed board of 10♠Q♦A♣6♣4♥ was in between Hasan Fahriogullari in middle position and Marta Miquel in the hijack, along with a pot of 22,000.

Fahriogullari then checked to Miquel, who shoved all in fo 19,900. Fahriogullari tanked for a good while before flicking in a calling chip.

Miquel tabled A♠K♥ for top pair, while Fahriogullari lost with A♦J♥ for the same pair but with a worse kicker.

Hassan Dahmani limped in under the gun. Lucien Cohen raised to 3,600 in the hijack. The action folded to Ladislao Dalfo in the small blind, but big blind Zhewen Hu raised to 21,000 out of turn.

It was explained to Dalfo that Hu's raise would stand unless he changed the action. Dalfo opted to call, making Hu's raise valid. It then folded back to Dalfo, who jammed all in, after which Hu made a quick call for 25,000 total.

The 2♠10♠7♣2♥3♦ board helped neither player. Dalfo's aces held as Hu quickly headed to the exit.
