Julien Sitbon opened to 55,000 from early position and Mukhtor Nasiradinov called on the button. Kirill Aleksandrov three-bet shoved for 535,000 from the small blind which only Sitbon called.

Sitbon look poised to send Aleksandrov to the payout desk. However, the flop of Q♥7♠8♠ was incredibly favorable for Aleksandrov as he hit top pair and a flush draw. Sitbon couldn't improve on the 6♣ turn or 2♠ river and the majority of his chips were sent over to Aleksandrov.

Sitbon was left very short and eliminated just a few hands later.

Arriving on a turn of 3♥8♦2♠4♣, Andras Matrai checked out of the big blind to Diogo Coelho under the gun. He made a bet of 160,000, which Hugues Mazerolle called in the hijack. Matrai got out of the way.

The 8♥ river was checked down, after which Coelho showed K♠5♠ for king-high.

Mazerolle turned over the winner with 9♠9♦, and his pair of nines saw him eclipse the seven-figure mark.

At an adjacent table, Simeon Spasov got in his last 85,000 with 9x8x from under the gun against Abdullah Akbarpoor AxJx. Akbarpoor paired his ace on the flop and sent Spasov to the rail.
