Jeschka Takes from Stok

With about 6,000 already in the pot and the board showing 55JK, both players opted to check.

When the 6 turn hit, Sven Stok led out with a 4,000 bet as the first to act. After a moment of consideration, Jeschka made the call. Stok revealed AJ for two pair, jacks and fives, but Jeschka had K9, with the higher two pair, kings and fives, to scoop up the pot.

Wilson Takes Three-Bet Pot

Andrea Crobu opened to 600 and was faced with a three-bet to 2,100 by Artem Bocharov on the button. Chase Wilson was in the big blind, and he cold-called, and Crobu also came along for the ride.

The 996 flop was checked through. On the 6 turn, Wilson led out with a bet of 2,800, and that was enough to force folds from both of his opponents.

Favia Hangs on Against Zheng

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Francesco Favia opened to 700 from early position and was three-bet to 2,000 by Tian Hao Zheng in the hijack. Action folded back around to Favia, who called.

Favia check-called a 3,000 bet from Zheng on the 7A7 flop and a 9,500 bet from Zheng on the 9 turn.

Both players checked down on the J river and Favia showed AQ. Zheng mucked his hand and Favia was sent the large pot.

Sanzoni Gets Job Done on Turn

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Siarhei Chudapal opened to 700 from the cutoff and received a call from Kazuomi Furuse in the small blind, before Bruno Sanzoni produced a three-bet to 2,700 from the big blind. Both of his opponents made the call.

On the 1054 flop, action was checked to Sanzoni, who fired out a bet of 2,600. Only Furuse called.

The 3 hit on the turn, and on this street Furuse check-folded versus a bet of 12,000 from Sanzoni.

Peluso's Pressure Forces a Fold

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Fabio Peluso opened the action from early position with a raise to 700, and Krishna Madhariwar made the call in the small blind.

On the QA10 flop, Madhariwar checked, and Peluso quickly followed up with a 1,000 continuation bet, which Madhariwar called without hesitation.

The A turn brought another check from Madhariwar, and Peluso kept up the pressure with a 2,800 bet. Madhariwar called once again.

When the J river landed, Madhariwar checked for the third time. This time, Peluso ramped up the aggression, betting 8,000. Madhariwar took his time, apologizing to the table for the long tank. In the end, he decided to fold, and Peluso scooped a nice pot in the early stages of the tournament.

Philip Joyce opened under the gun to 700, only to be faced with a three-bet to 2,100 by Simon Wiciak in middle position. Action folded back to Joyce, who pumped it up further to 5,500, with Wiciak making the call.

On the 743 flop, Joyce continued with a bet of 3,000, receiving a call from Wiciak.

The 9 turn caused Joyce to slow down, but he check-called a bet of 5,000 from Wiciak.

The 2 river was checked through. Joyce tabled AK for ace-high, while Wiciak took the pot with JJ for a pair of jacks.

Yang Collects Nashar's Stack

Hassan Nashar made a very large shove (given the blind level) for approximately 15,000 from the cutoff and it was folded to Haiyang Yang, who also went all in for more from the small blind. The player in the big blind folded and a showdown was held.

Zebarjad Gets Value

Around 9,000 was in the middle already on a completed board of J8356 in a hand between Ali Zebarjad in early position and Kacper Pyzara in middle position.

Zebarjad fired out a bet of 6,000, and Pyzara went into the tank. After a minute or so he asked "You have ace-jack?", but received no response from his opponent.

Pyzara made the call and found out that his opponent did indeed have AJ, sending Zebarjad the pot.
