Treccarichi fired an overbet of 145,000, covering East's remaining stack, and East went deep into the tank.
After around three minutes of thought, East disposed of his hand.
Samuel Fournier raised to 50,000 in the hijack, leaving himself 10,000 behind. Mihai Niste then jammed all in with a covering stack in the seat next to him, after which the action folded back to Fournier.
After a couple of minutes and a clarification of the rules, Fournier called and both hands were revealed.

It was a classic race. Fournier stayed ahead with his queens on the 8♣9♥8♦ flop but the 3♥ turn brought a flush draw for Niste's ace-king.
The river was ordered to be dealt, prompting the 5♥ to appear on the felt. Niste had made his flush to eliminate Fournier as the official bubble boy of the Main Event.
The remaining 191 players were all in the money and the room exploded in celebratory applause before play continued.
Lander Lijo opened the hijack to 8,000 and Shankui Li three-bet the cutoff to 25,000. When the action got back to Lijo, he called.
The flop came 10♥3♥3♦ and Lijo check-called a bet of 35,000 from Li to the 2♣ turn. Lijo checked for a second time, then Li shoved. Lijo quickly folded with 125,000 behind.
Jaywant Moenesar put in his last 31,000 from the cutoff and Jakob Miegel called from the big blind as the bigger stack.

Miegel improved to a set on the K♦3♦2♠ flop and ousted his opponent after the Q♣7♣ turn and river.
The action was caught on a completed board of 6♠J♣A♣4♠J♠. A gigantic pot of 275,000 had already been gathered when Ali Al-Kubasi bet 120,000 from under the gun.
His opponent was Fahredin Mustafov, who raised all in, covering Al-Kubasi's total stack of 255,000. Al-Kubasi spent some minutes in the tank before the clock was called.
During the final five seconds of his countdown, he slammed in a call. Mustafov showed A♦J♦ for a full house.
Al-Kubasi's A♥6♥ for two pair, aces and jacks, was shown by the dealer as he took his exit and picked up his min-cash.
The action folded around to Radoslav Stoyanov in the small blind, who shoved, and Scott Hall called off his stack of around 50,000 from the big blind.

Hall was in the lead, but fell behind on the 5♥9♣J♦ flop as Stoyanov improved to a pair of fives. The 9♥ did bring a few chop outs, but the river wasn't the card Hall was looking for, which meant he was eliminated.
Action folded to Timur Kurbanov on the button, who moved all in for 50,000, and was looked up by Adrien Quetelart in the small blind.

Kurbanov looked in great shape for the double-up with a dominating ace, but the Q♠J♠7♣ flop put Quetelart in front with a pair if of jacks.
Kurbanov now needed to find a ten or a king, but the Q♦6♣ turn and river were bricks to send him to the rail in unfortunate fashion.
Brandon Sheils got his chips in from the small blind on a flop of J♥10♣9♣ and was called by Akin Tuna in the big blind.

Both players had flopped a straight, but Tuna had the nuts. The A♦ turn prevented any chops from happening, and the A♠ river was dealt as Sheils stood up and headed to the payout desk.
