Timoshenko Runs into Big Slick

Mandara Risks It All, Almost

On a turn of 57102, Ryan Mandara made a bet of 13,000 into a pot of 22,500 from the hijack. Ludovic Breau called on the button before the A river completed the board.

Mandara slid in 31,000, leaving only 1,500 behind. Breau gave it some thought but ultimately folded, granting the pot to Mandara.

Masashi Oya was also seated at this table and already more than doubled the 30,000 he started with.

Okolovich Four-Bet Jams

Action folded to Iurii Okolovich in the cutoff, who opened to 3,000. Dmitry Vitkind flatted on the button, before Yiannis Liperis reached for chips and produced a three-bet to 14,500 from the big blind.

Okolovich thought for a while before four-bet jamming for 64,000. Vitkind seemed to have a decision, and took a bit of time before folding, but Liperis quickly dumped his hand into the muck, allowing Okolovich to take a decent pot preflop.

After just clashing in a pot, Andrew Hulme and Alexane Najchaus were back at it in a hand which ended with a casualty.

On a board of 328, Andrew Hulme had checked it over to Najchaus, who bet 3,000. Hulme then put in the check-raise to 9,000, which Najchaus called.

A 10 landed on the turn and Hulme shove for 15,000, Najchaus snap-called.

Georgios Skarparis in early position, Tamazi Skhirtladze in the hijack, and Daniel Jackson in the cutoff had all put in 11,000 preflop. A flop of 8QJ was then checked to Jackson, who bet 9,500.

Skarparis quickly folded but Skhirtladze joined to a turn of 9. There, Jackson put Skhirtladze all in for his last 27,000. Skhirtladze weighed his options but ended up folding and surrendering the pot.

Malec mulled over his options, before clicking it to 32,500. Lipauka spent some time in the tank while the action was on him, and he ultimately folded for the cards to go on their backs.

Flutur continued for 2,500 on the Q43 flop and was called in both spots. The 5 turn then checked through to the 4 river. Palma deliberated for some time before firing out 5,500. Flutur made it 26,000 after he weighed up his options. Dambrouski got out of the way and Palma followed suit.

Akbarpoor Left Poorer as Bogdanov Chips Up

Abdullah Akbarpoor put in 5,500 on a turn of 37106 from the hijack. Yulian Bogdanov in the cutoff raised to 14,000, which Akbarpoor called.

The 9 river saw Bogdanov put in 23,000 chips, leaving only 1,500 back. Akbarpoor gave it some thought but eventually passed his cards to the dealer in defeat.

Mazerolle Wins a Flip
