James Stuns Tuna in the Biggest Pot of the Tournament

Santhosh Suvarna three-bet to 66,000 in the big blind and Bobby James called on the button, as did Akin Tuna in the small blind.

The flop came A♦Q♦J♣ and Suvarna continued for 45,000. Both opponents called and the 3♣ fell on the turn.

Tuna then led out for 265,000 and Suvarna and James both called. The river was the 2♣ and Tuna fired out 310,000. Suvarna quickly folded, while James snap-called for 246,000.

James turned over A♣Q♣ for the rivered nut flush. "No f**king way," Tuna said as he shot out of his seat and showed K♣10♣.

"That's f**king insane. Where's my cameraman? That's a f**king big pot," James said as he raked in the massive pot worth around 1,600,000. Tuna returned to the table and slammed his chair on the ground, splashing his chips into the middle of the table in frustration before heading off on break.

Samuel Dray started the action with a raise to 16,000 from early position, but Iurii Okolovich responded by three-betting to 43,000 from the cutoff. Istvan Toth, on the button, made the call, while Dray folded.

Both players checked the 2♥9♥8♠ flop.

When the 8♥ hit the turn, Okolovich fired a hefty 68,000 bet, and Toth called.

The K♥ landed on the river, and both players checked again, heading to showdown. Okolovich revealed A♣K♦ for a pair of kings, but Toth showed Q♠Q♥, rivering a flush. Okolovich could only shake his head, realizing he had been behind the whole time.

"I'll take a jack," Kelly said heading to the flop, but it was Lindqwist who hit a pair on Q♠7♦6♣. The A♠ turn gave Kelly some hope with a straight draw, but he missed the 5♠ river and was sent to the rail.

On a flop of 7♣5♣J♦ with around 50,000 chips in the middle, Abdullah Akbarpoor bet 22,000, and Nikita Kuznetsov called.

A 9♥ hit the turn and Akbarpoor bet 45,000, which Kuznetsov called after a short time thinking, then both players checked the 6♦ river.

Akbarpoor showed A♠10♥, but Kuznetsov had the winner with 10♦9♦ as he paired his nine.

Around 65,000 was in the middle on a completed board of 9♦8♠4♠A♦9♣, in a hand between Christopher Nguyen in the hijack, Eleftherios Sinnos on the button, and Mihai Niste in the big blind.

Action was checked to Nguyen, who slid out a bet of 15,000. Sinnos raised to 60,000, and after some thought, Niste pumped it up further to 130,000. Nguyen got out of the way but Sinnos called after some consideration.

Niste showed Q♥10♣ for the queen-high bluff, while Sinnos tabled A♥K♠ and took the pot with a pair of aces.

Both players checked the J♦6♦5♥ flop.

When the J♥ landed on the turn, Wilson led out with a 30,000 bet, and Malec quickly called.

On the 8♥ river, Wilson checked, and Malec responded with a big bet of 125,000. Wilson called, showing 10♥10x for two pair, jacks and tens, but Malec revealed J♠10♣ for trip jacks and scooped the pot.

With around 100,000 in the pot in a battle between the blinds, Christian Steindel led out for 80,000 on a board of 9♣Q♣8♠2♥ and Lander Lijo moved all in. Steindel quickly called for 170,000.

Steindel showed 9♥8♥ for two pair, but Lijo had Q♠8♦ for a higher two pair as the 6♥ river sealed Steindel's elimination while Lijo raked in the big pot.
