Sinnos Eliminates Shcherbakov and Banic

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Ivan Banic
Ivan Banic

Kirill Shcherbakov was all in for his last 135,000 out of the big blind, and Ivan Banic also had his stack of around 300,000 in the middle. Eleftherios Sinnos put them both at risk and was in prime position to score a double knockout.

Kirill Shcherbakov: 94 All in
Ivan Banic: KK All in
Eleftherios Sinnos: AA

Banic surely thought this was his moment to double up, but unfortunately for him, Sinnos had picked up aces. The board of 3210J8 brought no surprises, and Sinnos secured the double elimination of Banic and Shcherbakov.

Kirill Shcherbakov raised to 60,000 in the hijack and Andriy Lyubovetskiy moved all in for 935,000 in the big blind. Shcherbakov called to put him at risk.

Andriy Lyubovetskiy: 1010 All in
Kirill Shcherbakov: AJ

Lyubovetskiy was flipping for his tournament life as the board ran out 6545K, keeping his tens in the lead and earning him a double-up.

Shcherbakov was left with less than one big blind and was all in the next hand as Lyubovetskiy and Mikhail Shalamov came along from the blinds.

Lyubovetskiy and Shamalov checked down the AQJ75 board and Shcherbakov showed J6 for a pair of jacks to win the pot and triple up, raising his arms in the air in celebration.

Sinnos Wins at Showdown Without Revealing Cards

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kirill Shcherbakov made a raise from the cutoff and Eleftherios Sinnos called in the big blind.

They went to a flop of 5A4 where Sinnos check-called a bet of 75,000 from Shcherbakov to the 9 turn, which went check-check.

Sinnos checked again on the 3 river and Shcherbakov fired 150,000. Sinnos snap-called.

Shcherbakov didn't want to expose his hand so tossed it into the muck, which meant Sinnos won the pot without showing his cards.

Dato Faces Tsouloftas' Check-Raise

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Andrea Dato saw 33 under the gun and raised to 60,000. Georgios Tsouloftas defended QJ in the big blind. On the subsequent 426 flop, Tsouloftas checked and Dato bet 40,000.

Tsouloftas then put in a big check-raise to 175,000, which Dato called. Tsouloftas continued firing on the 8 turn, making a bet of 250,000.

This time, Tsouloftas got his bluff through as Dato tossed his treys into the muck after some thinking time.

Joyce Welcomed to His New Table

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Philip Joyce
Philip Joyce

Philip Joyce had just switched tables and taken the seat of the departed Roeland Peeks as Arian Kashani opened to 60,000 in the cutoff. Yisha Chen then three-bet to 180,000 on the button and Joyce, still unracking his chips, called in the small blind. Kashani got out of the way.

The flop came 554 and Joyce led out for 65,000. Chen raised to 200,000 and Joyce called.

Both players checked the Q turn and the 6 fell on the river. Joyce checked again, Chen bet 800,000, and Joyce snap-called.

Chen showed KK, but Joyce turned over AA to win the massive pot.

"Welcome to the table," Kashani told him.

"Aces versus kings in back-to-back hands. The odds of that have to be astronimcal, almost zero," Bobby James added.

Dato Chips Up as Mhiri Calls Wrong

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Chakib Mhiri raised to 60,000 under the gun. Andrea Dato made the call on the button, leading to a flop of Q47.

Mhiri tossed in a continuation-bet of 65,000, which Dato called. Mhiri did not let up on the 8 turn, firing an additional 150,000. Dato slid in a call again, after which Mhiri checked the 7 river.

Dato used a time bank before betting 240,000. Mhiri used one extension of his own but ultimately found a call. Dato tabled AQ for queens and sevens, seeing Mhiri's 66 disappear into the muck.

Munoz Continues to Accumulate, Stacks Peeks

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Roland Peeks
Roland Peeks

Marta Miquel Munoz opened the cutoff to 60,000 and Roeland Peeks shoved from the big blind for 330,000. Munoz thought for just a short time before she called.

Roeland Peeks: A8 All in
Marta Miquel Munoz: A9

Peeks was at risk, but did find some chop possibilities on the J3K flop, and even more on the 10 turn. However, the 2 river meant Munoz's kicker played, which sent Peeks to the rail.
