Boughareb Hero-Calls for Tournament Life
Level 3
: Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Power Path winner Guillermo Sanz kicked things off, raising to 700 from the hijack. Vladimir Erceg three-bet to 1,800 from the cutoff to 1,800 before Kamal Boughareb made it 6,100 from the small blind. Sanz folded before Erceg called.
Boughareb check-called for 4,700 on the 6♥5♣2♣ flop, leaving him with around 8,300 behind. Boughareb checked when the J♦ turn came in, and Erceg put him all in. After some time in the tank, Boughareb called.
Kamal Boughareb: A♦K♥
Vladimir Erceg: A♣8♣
Boughareb called with the best hand but needed to avoid an eight or a club to stay in contention. The dealer complied with the 2♥ river and he doubled up.
