Figueiras Catches a Miracle Triple on the River
Level 20
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Yohan Figueiras moved all in for 176,000 from early position, Sergio Brignoli reshoved for 202,000 in middle position, and Nina Krasilnikova called in the big blind.
Yohan Figueiras: 9♣9♠
Sergio Brignoli: A♦Q♦
Nina Krasilnikova: A♠Q♥
The flop came 7♠6♣8♣ to keep Figueiras in the lead, but the A♥ turn gave both Brignoli and Krasilnikova top pair. The river, though, was the 9♥ and Figueiras spiked a set to earn a triple up, while Brignoli and Krasilnikova chopped the side pot.
