Turchi Catches Fire
Level 26
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Razvan Scutaru opened to 110,000 from under the gun and called when Virgile Turchi three-bet 300,000 from the hijack.
Scutaru check-jammed for around 1,000,000 on the Q♦8♠7♦ flop after Turchi continued for 200,000. Turchi quickly called for the cards to go on their backs.
Razvan Scutaru: A♣Q♣
Virgile Turchi: A♦K♦
Scutaru had top pair but was then drawing dead as Turchi made a flush on the 2♦ turn before the 10♦ completed the board.
