Stephane Gabarre opened to 50,000 from middle position and received calls from Julien Thome in the cutoff and Demosthenes Kiriopoulos in the big blind.

The flop came K♥K♦6♠ and action checked around to Gabarre who fired a 50,000 continuation bet. Thome made the call while Demosthenes got out of the way.

Gabarre slowed down with a check on the A♥ turn and Thome bet 120,000. Gabarre made the call.

On the K♠ river Gabarre check-called one more bet from Thome, this time for 200,000.

Thome tabled 8♠8♣ for kings full of eights but Gabarre tabled A♦6♦ for kings full of aces to take the pot.
