Grigorios Archontakis raised to 1,000 from under the gun. Stephen Thirlwell called from the cutoff as did Giovanni Salvatore from the button and Hans Erlandsson from the big blind.

The 3♣10♦8♥ flop was checked by Erlandsson to Archontakis who bet 1,600. Thirlwell called and Salvatore folded. Erlandsson then put in the minimum check-raise to 3,200. Archontakis called and Thrilwell folded.

On the 9♦ turn, Erlandsson led for 2,200 and Archontakis called. Erlandsson led on the A♣ river and Erlandsson led again for 6,500. Archontakis made the call and showed A♥10♥. Erlandsson tabled A♦10♣ for a chop.

"So much work for nothing" remarked Archontakis as he took half the pot.
