Briotti Building a Monster Stack
Level 25
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Mathieu Di Meglio opened to 85,000 from under the gun and Tommaso Briotti called from the hijack.
The flop came A♣7♦4♥. Briotti fired an 85,000 continuation bet that was called by Di Meglio.
Both players checked the 8♠ turn and 2♠ river. Di Meglio could only show K♣Q♠ for king-high while Briotti tabled 9♠9♦ for a pair of nines to take the pot and continue accumulating chips.
