O'Neill Wins Big Double Up

Level 14 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action was picked up with Jack O'Neill reraising all in from the small blind for 108,000. He raised Umberto Zaffagnini's hijack open and he decided to make the call.

Jack O'Neill: 99 All in
Umberto Zaffagnini: 88

Zaffagnini was drawing almost dead when O'Neill flopped a set on J95 and secured the double up on the K turn. The 6 river was inconsequential and O'Neill took the pot.

Big Pot for Skrbic

Level 14 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

With approximately 73,000 already in the pot, Milos Skrbic pushed all in for his last 42,500 on the 4972 board. Aviv Meiri went into the tank but must have had a feeling that his 87 was a good call, because that's what he made.

Skrbic revealed AA and was clearly ahead, a fact that the 3 on the river didn't alter.

With only 18,000 chips remaining, Aviv now faces the challenge of rebuilding his stack.

Rajkovic's Comeback

Adi Rajkovic

At the beginning of the event, Adi Rajkovic lamented, "I could have started with 2,000 more if I had just registered late," given that he began with 28,000 chips while the starting stack was 30,000 because he was playing on day 1.

However, Rajkovic quickly turned his luck around by winning two consecutive hands, boosting his chip count to 100,000.

In the first hand, he faced off against Ramon Colillas, and his KK held strong on a 39A52 board.

In the second hand, Rajkovic found success from the small blind with Q5, hitting two pair against Cristiano Guerra in the big blind. Guerra folded after Rajkovic revealed his hand on the 10Q85A board.

Dark Check No Help For Meiri

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ken Demlakian opened to 4,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Aviv Meiri in the big blind, who made the call.

"Check dark," said Meiri as the dealer flipped over the Q92 flop.

Demlakian followed through with a bet of 4,000, good enough to claim an early pot as Meiri mucked.
