First, Nicola Grieco doubled up Maria Konnikova, who had Ax9x. Then, after an open raise to 4,000, Grieco three-bet to 16,500. When Javier Gomez shoved all-in, the initial raiser considered calling but ultimately opted against it with Grieco still to act. Grieco also folded, losing approximately 70,000 chips over the course of two hands.
Besiana Antoni opened from early position to 4,000. Action folded around to Ihor Kotyk who called in the small blind and Ut Tam Vo defended the big blind.
The 10♦K♦10♥ flop was checked around. Kotyk checked the K♣ turn and Vo bet 2,000. Antoni called and Kotyk folded. Vo then led the 6♥ river for 3,000. Antoni took a moment before calling. She tabled A♥Q♠ which bested Vo's A♣J♠.
Yiannis Liperis opened the button to 5,000. Boris Kolev reraised all in for around 20,000 in the small blind. Liperis called as the covering stack.
Boris Kolev: A♦9♦
Yiannis Liperis A♥J♣
Kolev's ace was dominated and found no help on the 7♣4♣5♦ flop. The 4♦ turn gave him a straight draw but he couldn't get there on the 10♣ river and was sent to the rail.
