Paul Runcan opened from under the gun to 50,000. Eugenio Peralta reraised to 150,000 from the cutoff. Action folded around and Runcan called.

Runcan check-called a bet of 125,000 on the 8♠5♥9♣ flop. He checked on the 4♠ turn before Peralta announced all in for 465,000. Runcan went into the tank and stared at his opponent in attempt to get a read. He ended up making the call.

Damian Salas and Yves Piacentino were heads up to the river of a completed board showing 4♠8♥J♦5♠4♥.

Piacentino checked to Salas from the small blind. Salas slid out a bet of 240,000 from under the gun, leaving just 15,000 chips behind.

After taking some time, Piacentino announced all in, taking down the pot as Salas instantly mucked with less than one big blind behind.

Salas was then forced all in on the next hand, with Javier Fernandez moving all in from early position to leave the hand heads up.

All players checked through the 4♠9♥2♣ flop.

On the 4♣ turn, it was checked to Corrigan, who bet 110,000 and was called only by Santerne.

Santerne also checked the Q♦ river, and Corrigan bet 240,000, leaving just 20,000 of his stack behind. After some consideration, Santerne called.

Corrigan revealed A♠9♠ for a pair of nines, while Santerne showed J♣Q♣ for a pair of queens.

A few hands later, Corrigan found himself with J♥J♠ and pushed all in for his last 20,000, equivalent to one big blind, after Santerne had already made a bet of 40,000. Martin Stausholm was also involved but folded after Santerne's continuation bet, only staying until the flop. Santerne showed J♦K♣ and was fortunate enough to make a flush on the 3♦4♦7♦K♦9♥ board.
