Cibicek Wins One, Loses Another

Jozef Cibicek and Niclas Thumm both checked a 4♦8♠9♣ flop and Thumm bet 60,000 from the big blind on the 9♥ turn.

Cibicek called under the gun and the A♥ fell on the river. Thumm then bet 115,000 and Cibicek called.

Thumm showed six-high for a bluff and Cibicek turned over J♠9♠ for trip nines to win the pot.

The next hand, Jonathan Guedes bet 35,000 from early position on a flop of A♠4♣3♣ and Cibicek raised to 85,000 in the big blind. Guedes called.

Both players checked the 7♥ turn and Cibicek also checked the 8♦ river. Guedes used a time bank before he shrugged and checked behind.

Cibice showed 9♣9♦, but Guedes had A♣J♣ to win the pot.
