Level 27
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
The hand after picking up Big Slick, Niclas Thumm, from under the gun, made it 130,000.
Philipp Wenzelburger three-bet to 430,000 from the small blind. Thumm then clicked to 1,250,000 and was called.
With 2,620,000 in the pot, Wenzelburger shoved as the big stack on the J♥Q♦3♦ flop and Thumm called off the 1,520,000 he had behind.
Niclas Thumm: A♦A♣
Philipp Wenzelburger: A♠Q♥
Thumm needed to avoid the two remaining queens and he became one of the chip leaders after the 9♦ turn and 7♣ river confirmed his double up.
