Both players missed the K♣Q♦8♦ flop, meaning Thumm's ace-high remained the best hand. Thumm, though, check-folded to a bet of 275,000.

Angelov then limped in with K♥5♣, and Rania Nasreddine checked her option in the big blind with 4♥2♣.

Action was checked through to showdown, and Nasreddine won the hand after being the only player to connect with the 3♠7♥2♦9♣Q♣ board.
