Calamusa Picks off Bluff
Level 6
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Symeon Alexandridis opened from early position to 1,200 and Pierre Calamusa called. Action folded to Regis Levy who completed in the small blind.
The Q♣8♦J♥ flop was checked around, as was the 8♣ turn. Regis checked the 5♥ river and Alexandridis fired 12,000. After a moment in the tank Calamusa made the call and Levy snap-folded.
Alexandridis tabled A♥7♥ for a pair of eights with an ace kicker and Calamusa tabled 9♣9♥ for two pair which won him the pot.
