Miniucchi Busts Grasu and Damages Kono

Niculina Grasu was all-in from early position for 20,000 and action was folded to Reiji Kono in the small blind who called.

Marcello Miniucchi was in the big blind and pondered his options before producing the all-in three bet to 125,000. Kono quickly called, with Grasu and Miniucchi at risk.

Miniucchi was in great shape with his pocket kings, and the K♣10♣J♦ flop improved him to top set, as well as giving Kono an up-and-down straight draw along with his pair of queens. Grasu wasn't out of it yet either as she had a gutshot straight draw, although Kono had two of her outs.

The 6♦ turn was a brick, and the K♥ river completed the runout, sending Miniucchi a substantial pot with quad kings, while leaving Kono with crumbs and sending Grasu to the exit.
