Ogita Tells the Table His Secret
Level 15
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Danilo Pasquali raised to 8,000 from under the gun, Daisuke Ogita three-bet to 24,000 in early position and Pasquali called.
The hand checked through as the full board now read 2♠3♣7♣5♠6♥. Pasquali bet out 24,000 and Ogita made the call. Pasquali tabled Q♣10♣ for queen-high, while Ogita won this hand as he rolled over A♥K♥ for ace-high.
A neutral player at the table jokingly asked what Ogita had eaten on the dinner break to warrant such a swing of success. "Pasta" Ogita replied.
