Ouziel Takes From James
Level 2
: Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Frederic Ouzel opened to 600 under the gun and was met by a three-bet to 1,500 by Nadim Hage-Ali in the next seat.
Action folded to Xavier James in the small blind who made the cold call. Ouzel also called.
On the 6♦10♦8♥ flop action was checked to Hage who put out a bet of 800. James called, before Ouzel reached for raising chips, producing a three-bet to 2,600. Only James called.
On the 9♥ turn, James check-called a bet of 5,500 from Ouzel.
The 3♣ rolled off on the river, and James checked for a third time to his opponent. Ouzel fired out a bet of 6,500 and James made the quick call.
James turned over 10♥9♠ for top two pair, but Ouzel had 7♣8♣ for the straight, sending him a nice early pot.
