Speranza Gets Paid with Full House
Level 24
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Two players saw the J♣10♠8♠3♣ turn, and Sho Homma checked to Gianluca Speranza who fired a bet of 210,000 into the pot of about 280,000. Homma thought about it for a few moments and made the call.
When the 8♣ landed on the river, Homma checked once again before Speranza fired 500,000. This time Homma gave it about a minute of thought before opting to call.
Speranza rolled over 10♣10♥ for a full house and Homma pushed his cards face down toward the dealer.
