Corsi Gets Paid
Level 34
: Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Pietro Corsi raised to 600,000 from under the gun and Gianluca Speranza defended in the big blind.
Speranza checked at the sight of the 3♦Q♥3♥ flop, Corsi continued for 400,000 and Speranza check-raised to 1,150,000. Corsi called.
The 6♣ turn checked through to the 7♦ river. Speranza checked again and Corsi bet out 2,000,000. Speranza made a reluctant call prompting Corsi to table K♠Q♦ for top pair; good enough to take down this pot.
