Action was picked up on the 10♠7♠K♦ flop where Jack Hardcastle checked in the small blind to Maxim Staudacher who bet 4,000 from the big blind.

Hardcastle made the call and the dealer flipped the 7♦ turn. Hardcastle check-called a sizeable 20,000 bet from Staudacher.

The K♥ river paired the board. Hardcastle checked once more. Staudacher tanked for a moment before checking back. Hardcastle tabled 7♣8♦ for a full house and Staudacher mucked.

Regis Levy opened to 2,400 from under the gun. Action folded around to Dinesh Alt who called and Maxim Staudacher completed in the big blind.

Staudacher checked the 7♠3♠6♦ flop to Levy, who fired a bet of 2,100. Alt put in a raise to 7,000. Staudacher took a moment before announcing all in. Levy quickly folded. Alt tanked for a moment before putting in calling chips.

Staudacher tabled 4♥5♣ for a flopped straight and Alt showed 8♦8♣ leaving him drawing almost dead.

The turn 4♣ offered a glimmer of hope to Alt who could make a better straight with a five, but the river 9♠ sent Alt to the rail and left Staudacher with a sizeable pot.
