Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Pierre Calamusa
Pierre Calamusa

Pierre Calamusa opened to 1,200 from early position and was called by Alexandre Le Vaillant in the cutoff and Benjamin Spragg in the big blind.

All three players checked on the 843 flop and Spragg led out for 1,600 on the 3 turn. Both Calamusa and Le Vaillant called.

The 7 completed the board and Spragg bet 3,300. Calamusa thought for a while and raised to 12,000, which got a fold from Le Vaillant and a call from Spragg.

Calamusa showed Q8 for eights and treys and Spragg mucked.

On the very next hand, Calamusa and Spragg got into a preflop raising war that ended with Spragg all in. Spragg held pocket kings against Calamusa's ace-four, but an ace fell on the river — eliminating Spragg from the tournament.
