Francesco Di Profio called for 300 from under the gun as did Thierry Delpui from early position. Claude Mamalepot decided to come along on the button as did Maxime Nouchi in the small blind.
Alessandro Orsi opted to apply pressure from the big blind to his four opponents by reraising to a sizeable 3,500. The bet garnered quick folds from the four players and Orsi scooped the pot preflop.

The 3♣ rolled off on the river, and James checked for a third time to his opponent. Ouzel fired out a bet of 6,500 and James made the quick call.
James turned over 10♥9♠ for top two pair, but Ouzel had 7♣8♣ for the straight, sending him a nice early pot.
